An existing dark, dated space was transformed into an open, airy space fit for entertaining by removing walls, creatively integrating existing infrastructure, and the use of light finishes. Entertaining is accommodated through use of creative storage solutions and expandable furniture. An aviation theme requested by the client is carried throughout using historical photographs printed on aluminum, and furniture that references the golden age of aviation. The project won a 2017 FAB Award for Hospitality. Chad Haller as Project Manager with U+B Architecture.
